We got engaged on December 12 at a place called Vitruvian Park in Addison, TX. During the Christmas season, the trees in the park are decorated with twinkle lights. All of them. Their glow reflects off of the waterfront nearby, making things twice as pretty. We went in the evening and slowly made our way to a grove with two trees taller than all the others, but still lit just as brightly. Unknown to Edna, both sides of the family had been contacted and told to meet us there. They turned their backs to us as we approached, looking like some of the dozens of strangers there that night. On cue, Zach's friend Mondo played Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" on a bluetooth speaker, and after dancing under the twinkle lights for a bit, Zach got on one knee and popped the question in front of family, loved ones, and a photographer that had been hired to help capture the magic! The magic endures as the two now prepare for a beautiful day of saying "Yes" to each other, forever, on September 17.
