We met at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL through mutual friends. We became best friends and started spending time with each other more. After a year, we started dating and the rest is history.

We went to the Florida Keys for “a friends trip”. At least that’s why I thought why we were going. Little did I know that Angel planned to propose and that’s is how the trip to the keys came about. On the last day before we headed back home, everyone got dressed up and I was wondering why because Angel and I were going to get pictures but I didn’t think everyone was getting dressed up. we head out to the dock and when I turn around, Angel is down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said “Yes yes yes yes, a thousand times yes” and “Do I need to say it in Spanish? Si si si si si”.
