In Chatham's town center, you'll find unique shopping that everyone will enjoy. On Main Street, the best way to get around is on foot. Start at either side of Main Street where you will find many fine shops and restaurants. Our personal favorite bar is the Chatham Squire. Further along you'll find galleries full of work by local artists, nautical antiques, jewelry, specialty foods, and more.
The Beachcomber has been voted one of the best seaside restaurants on the Cape! With an outdoor bar overlooking the Atlantic and an indoor bar in the heart of a former U.S. Lifesaving Station, it does not get any more authentic than the Wellfleet Beachcomber. Bring the whole family down to the Beachcomber for some lunch or dinner. They have a great kids’ menu with burgers, grilled cheese, fish & chips and more.
Cape Cod is best known for its beautiful beaches, but you'll have to bundle this time of year. Two local Chatham favorites are Chatham Lighthouse Beach and Harding's Beach. Nauset Beach and Coast Guard Beach are two of our favorites but are slightly farther away.
