Twisted Track Brewpub
This is one of our favorite breweries in Downtown Roanoke to grab a quick beer, but if you plan to stay a while they have great food options too!
Big Lick Brewing Company
Just a few blocks from Hotel Roanoke this is a fun brewery with a great outdoor space. Across the street, grab a taco and a margarita from Tuco's Taqueria - Thomas' favorite is the House Margarita and Miranda's favorite is the Coco-Lada Margarita.
Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea
Mill Mountain Coffee is a local favorite for great coffee and yummy breakfast. Other breakfast places nearby - Scrambled, Ernie's, and Bread Craft.
Roanoke River Greenway
If you're looking for fresh air and beautiful fall scenery, the Roanoke River Greenway is a great option. It can be accessed at many points throughout Roanoke, but our favorite is Vic Thomas Park next to Black Dog Salvage.
Fortunato
A great place for dinner, or, if you're short on time stop by the speakeasy next door. It is one of our favorite places for a craft cocktail.
