Welcome family and friends, thank you for sharing this wonderful day with us. We are so excited to begin this new journey of our lives.

We met at Virginia Tech while in the Corps of Cadets in 2009. We both were in different companies but later learned that we were attending the same class, Project Success. We became friends and started to get to know one another. As the years passed by our friendship grew. Later, when we began to get our life together, we finally reconnected and decided to start a relationship in 2019; the rest is history.

Finding the courage to propose was the first hurdle I had to overcome and with the looming deployment, daunting. But after Edlyn pushed me to better myself and made me want to be a better person and a better man, I knew she was the one I wanted to share my life with. On November 23, 2021, I decided to pop the question. I asked her to walk my dog, Draco so that I could prepare the ring in the custom box I had picked out. When she returned, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
