Our Love Story

4 yrs Friends/ 10 yrs Dating/ Forever as Husband & Wife

Although we crossed each other in the middle school hallways we didn’t officially meet until freshman year of high school. Jorge asked me on a date to which I declined. We remain friends and it wasn’t until years later as I was planning my 19th birthday celebration he reached out via Facebook and we exchange numbers. After weeks of planning a party, it soon instead became our first date. We spoke every night on the phone for hours catching up telling each other everything . When the day arrived we could hardly hold in our excitement, but little did we know we’d have the worst first date either of us had ever been on. We screamed in each others faces over loud music all night trying to get to know each other, laughing at the terrible situation and how the night unfolded but it brought us closer. We were pretty much inseparable after that. We’ve shared highs, lows and everything in between. We’ve spent 10 years growing alongside each other. When it came to proposing he totally shocked me, which I think is pretty impressive considering I see everything coming. He enlisted the help of some of our closest friends at what I thought was going to be a night out to celebrate his birthday and my best friend being in town. When we arrived I heard loud music playing from our friends apartment (it was one of Jorge’s favorite songs) then as we enter our friends were holding signs which read Will- You- Marry- Me! He dropped to one knee and I swear I blacked out because I’m not sure what he said, but I came to when he said the actual words. I said yes, and he asked again, I said yes then he starred then I yelled yes! The music was too loud, he couldn’t hear me. This is becoming a theme in our relationship. So for our wedding have a good time, be safe and enjoy the loud music it’s kind of our thing.

Covid Precautions

With COVID-19 still a growing concern, we have implemented a wristband system to show your comfort with physical contact. We want everyone to have a goodtime and feel confortable. Masks, socially distant seating, and ample sanitizing stations will be provided. As much as we want everyone to be able to celebrate in person, we do ask that if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to COVID-19 within two weeks of the wedding , please stay home and toast us from afar. We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
