The story begins St. Patrick’s Day weekend 2019. There may not have been any leprechauns or four-leaf clovers (as far as we know) but luck happened to strike. Sometimes the spontaneous nights you don’t plan turn out to be the best! A large group of Massholes visiting South Florida, not interested in Miami’s bottle service or overpriced cocktails just wanted to have some fun. While two best friends have dinner and try to determine if the night is still young or if it’s time to retire for the evening. As one friend is ready to call it, the other is ready to hit the stage and let Alanis Morissette rip! All parties agree, karaoke at Sweet Caroline’s it is, and the plan is now set. Just before midnight that night is when their paths finally crossed as Andrew turned around and saw Edith standing behind him. As soon as he saw her, there was no other choice but to try and make conversation. A connection as simple as having lived in New York, a love for reggaeton and maybe some luck of the Irish setup what would turn into five years of love and adventure. Through these years memories would be made aplenty. Concerts, sporting events, dinners exploring every neighborhood in Miami, and traveling far and wide helped build their bond every day. Moving in together as COVID hit, the addition of a good boy named Migo, and life’s wild ups and downs over the last few years only continue to strengthen their love for one another. For Andrew, it’s Edith’s selflessness. Her passion for life and adventure. Her curiosity. Her strength. Her love of her family. Her never-ending energy and willingness to take on a challenge and keep pushing amazes him. He truly believes she is one of a kind. For Edith, it’s Andrew’s kindness. His charming and loving personality. His passion and dedication for sports (go Ravens!) that brings so much fun to the relationship. His love and loyalty for his family and friends. His open and beautiful mind, and his natural ability to bring the best out of Edith. He’s definitely the most amazing human she’s ever met. It’s a bond and a love that’s just a mere five years young. A family that started in Miami, ready to embark on new beginnings wed together in Baltimore. We couldn’t be more excited for what else is ahead for us in our lives together. And we couldn’t be happier that you will be there to share our special wedding day with us.
