Can I bring a date/plus one?
Answer
Due to our guest count, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally included on your invitation. Save the dates did not include all plus ones so feel free to reach out if you believe that we have forgotten someone

Are my kids invited?
Answer
We love all your kids so, so much. However, we have decided that our wedding will be a child free event so that we are all able to kick back and enjoy ourselves

Where should I stay?
Answer
We strongly recommend staying in Princeton, IL as this is the same town our reception venue is in. We are still working on if we are setting up a hotel block and there are plenty of AirBnBs etc in the area

Can I plan on Ubering?
Answer
This is a very small area so there are no Ubers, Lyfts, or anything else of the sort around here. We are still working out if we will have a shuttle service or anything of the kind

Is there a room block set up?
Answer
Not at the current moment, but we are working on figuring it out. There are plenty of Airbnbs and Vrbos around and we can help with some recommendations if you would like to go that route!

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
There are plenty of small airports such as Moline, Peoria, Rockford, and Bloomington that are nearby that we would recommend. Moline is our personal favorite and has a direct flight to/from Vegas on Thursdays and Sundays through Allegiant. The Chicago airports, Midway and O'Hare, are also good options, but would require a bit of a drive once you land. We recommend rental cars for those who are flying in as this is a small area and it will be your best bet to get where you want to go.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! We have decided on cocktail attire for our event. Please keep in mind the ceremony is taking place in a church so nothing too low cut or too short please. Please no jeans/denim and please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or any other colors traditionally reserved for the bride. Please reserve light blue for the wedding party.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors The reception venue is located at a beautiful botanical garden and you are welcome to walk the property for photo ops or just to explore which would obviously be outdoors.

What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let Katie know ASAP so she can make sure you have something yummy to eat

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes, there will be an open bar. The drinks are on us, but the hangovers will be on you

What time should I arrive?
Answer
For the ceremony - we are starting the processional at 1:00pm sharp. We ask that you arrive by 12:40pm to make sure you have time to park and find a seat before the start of the ceremony For the cocktail hour - the cocktail hour is to begin at 4:30pm please show up at this time. If you show up early, things won't be ready For the reception - we will be at the same location as the cocktail hour so no worries you will already be there

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
Due to the ceremony happening in a church, we ask that all guests keep cellphones put away throughout the duration of the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer lined up who will get all the shots you could possibly want, and we will gladly share these pictures with you when we receive them

What do I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?
Answer
We will be having a short gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour There are a few towns in between the venues that host a variety of bars, restaurants, and other things to do in between the events. We are looking to form a bit of a list for you all to go off of

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We are collecting RSVPs via this website. Please reach out to Katie or Nick directly if you have any questions. We do not have the RSVPs set up at the moment, but if you already know you cannot come please let us know via text.
