It all started in the summer of 2002. Diana was a college student at SDSU, spending many weekends and summers at the Chavez household—where the party was always happening (if you know, you know). Edgar, her cousin’s best friend, was always there too. What began as casual conversations between two familiar faces quickly grew into something easy, genuine, and full of laughs. We spent three years building that bond—filled with deep talks, laughs, and probably more burritos and late-night hangouts than either of us would admit. And somewhere in all of that, it quietly turned into forever. Fast-forward twenty years, a house, several dogs, and two beautiful, amazing girls later—and here we are. Still laughing, still loving, still arguing about who didn’t put a bag in the trash can (it was Edgar), and still choosing each other every day. But with life getting so busy, we just never got around to the whole “I do” part—until now. And we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 20-year anniversary than to finally say “We do,” surrounded by the people who’ve been part of our journey all along. So come ready to laugh, dance, cry a little (maybe), and party a lot—because this celebration has been 20 years in the making.
