Tina and I (Edgar) first met through mutual friends. We found that our friendship grew over time, and we became closer and closer friends. In time, as that friendship deepened, it grew into so much more. Our journey from the first day we met - to today, has brought us together with faith and joy. We are so excited to share our wedding with our friends and family. We want to share the beginning of our new life together with everyone!

I (Edgar) had been planning it for quite a while, doing my very best to plan out every detail of our evening. I wanted everything to be perfect for Tina. I got our dinner reservations set, and planned the decorations, and ordered a custom cake. I even had my parents fly in for the proposal! I remember being a bundle of nerves and excitement! I had everything perfectly planned. My parents and Tina's boys were going to come over, and Tina just thought this was going to be an anniversary dinner. Everything was going to be perfect! About a month before the big night, we were at home, playing with the boys. I took some pictures of everyone playing together. Then, I went to show those pictures to Tina. As I scrolled through the pictures of the boys, I didn't realize I still had a picture of her engagement ring on my phone (oops!). So, as i scrolled, up popped a picture of the engagement ring! Tina saw a glimpse of it before I quickly hid my phone, and she gasped! I was crushed that the cat was out of the bag (pun intended - we love our cats), but I couldn't stay disappointed when I saw the smile on Tina's face. She was so happy. I came to realize that our proposal wasn't about the surprise or the decorations - it was about Tina and me. I was offering Tina the only thing I had to offer that mattered to me. I want to give her the world, because that was what she had given me.
