I still remember the first day i came to Canada it was a cold night, the snow was bellowing and i had a lot of mixed feelings about how things were going to turn out cause at the time i had only spoken to aunty Kemi once but upon meeting her i felt all of them go away. The kindness and love she has showed is almost unreal. I immediately felt like her long lost handsome 😌 younger brother it really felt like i could tell her anything, any worries, any doubts and she would always give me the best possible advice and always reassured me that she was proud of me and that most times got me through some stressful times. I met Edet in Regina about 5 years ago. I was new to Regina and to the church we both attended. The first thing I noticed was his fluent Yoruba- better than that of an original Yoruba girl (haha, that's me). Anyway, we quickly became friends as he was quite helpful in helping me settle in to the city. And over the years, even though we both have since moved away from Regina, we kept in touch. It was during one of these once a year visits last year that I met Kemi for the first time. And I knew that Anku had indeed found "a good thing and obtained favour from God".
