Our First date was at Cheddars in Corpus Christi Tx. We had been talking for a few months, but then life got in the way with sickness and different priorities at that time but we parted amicably and wished each other well. 2 years had passed, Marissa moved back to her home in Fort Worth Tx, Mathew was still on the road working in the oil field and had reconnected, but distance played a big factor in a relationship to not be possible at that time. We both had failed relationships after another, and then one day, 4 years later, a like on Facebook and a video sent on TikTok sparked us up talking once again. Mathew came to visit for a weekend since we hadn’t seen each other in person for 4 years. When he was here, he said that if he ever got the chance to have me as his, he’d never let me go again. He went home, quit his job, and came to take a chance on love and move to be with me. 500 miles away, living two separate lives, we believe God, and our little invisible string were always going to pull us together no matter how far.
