The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. This includes cocktail or formal dresses for the ladies and suits and ties, or sports coats, for men. In March, the Lowcountry's average high temperatures are in the low 70s, but evenings can drop to around 50°F, so a light jacket or sweater may be desired.
Weather permitting, we plan to hold the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with the reception to follow indoors. Should we encounter rain—traditionally considered a sign of good luck on your wedding day—the ceremony will be relocated to a chapel on the property.
We are delighted to welcome your little ones to the ceremony and reception. If you have a child over 12 months included in your party, we will be including them in your RSVP.
Yes, there will be ample parking available at the venue to accommodate all guests. Upon arrival at the front gate, a parking attendant will assist you in finding your way to the designated parking areas. For your convenience, you may drop off guests, including women and children, at the entrance before proceeding to park your vehicle. Additionally, we will provide golf cart service to transport those who have parked back to the entrance.
We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged room blocks at several nearby hotels. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Travel" page.
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards.
