When will Ben and Leslie be in St. Pete’s Beach?

Answer

To maximize the time we get to spend with our friends and family, we will be in Florida Thursday (8/4) - Monday (8/8). Our formal wedding events are only on Friday and Saturday, but if you want to come earlier or stay longer you can. We will be staying at Hotel Zamora, where all wedding festivities will take place.

Do I have to stay at Hotel Zamora?

Answer

No, don’t feel obligated to stay at Hotel Zamora. The hotel isn’t directly on the beach, so if that’s important to you, check out one of our other hotel recommendations on our travel page. Or choose one of the many resorts or private rentals available on St Pete’s beach! One note if booking a private rental: if you find something on Airbnb or VRBO, try to find the same listing through the actual property management company to save on fees! :)

Does hotel Zamora have a resort fee?

Answer

No! They don’t have an added resort fee like so many do. They have chairs and umbrellas available to rent for the beach. They also have bikes, fishing rods, and kayaks available to rent.

Do I need a rental car to get around the area?

Answer

Not necessarily. The area is walkable, and there’s a free shuttle available (https://www.freebeachride.com/st-pete-beach.html). However, transportation to/from the airport and plans for other Florida attractions may require a rental car. There are four major brands with offices on St Pete’s beach if you need a rental outside of the airport.

What’s the plan in the event of inclement weather?

We will still have the wedding, but it will be indoors at Hotel Zamora. And we may spend a lot of time playing games inside 😂
