When will we know an exact date for the wedding?

Answer

We can only confirm our exact date with Disney in August 2026. We are giving you an indication of the week of the wedding now, and a formal invitation will follow with the exact date, to those who RSVP yes.

Do I need to buy a Disney ticket to attend the wedding?

Answer

Walt Disney World is our favourite place on Earth, so of course we would love for you to have the full experience during your stay, but you do not need park tickets to attend the ceremony or festivities.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For our ceremony, the dress code is formal: we kindly ask gentlemen to wear suits and ladies to wear dresses. Please keep in mind that Florida in August can be hot and humid. For the evening celebrations, feel free to change into something more casual! Comfortable shoes for walking are a great idea, and of course, Mickey ears are welcome for this portion of our event.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Florida can be unpredictable. We expect it will likely be hot and humid during the day, with temperatures in August averaging at 32 degrees Celsius during the day, and rarely dropping below 23 degrees at night. There is usually daily rain showers around midday, but they don’t usually last long. August falls within hurricane season in Florida, so be aware this is a possibility, but Orlando is usually out of the direct path with being in central Florida, and well prepared to deal with such storms.

If possible, we would really appreciate it if guests could make a firm decision about attending our Florida celebration by July 2026 so we can plan accordingly.
