Question

LOCATION

Answer

Arrowwood Events 545 Loma Linda Rd Palmer, TX 75152 A beautiful, rustic outdoor wedding venue (35-40 minutes from downtown Dallas) that we hope you all enjoy! For your convenience, if driving we highly recommend utilizing a GPS app, such as Google Maps or Waze.

Question

HOW DO WE RSVP?

Answer

Please be on the lookout for formal invitations in the mail with an opportunity to RSVP at that time, coming in January 2025! If you haven't already, we ask that you fill out the requested information that came with your save-the-date notices via Zola.

Question

WHERE DO WE FLY INTO?

Answer

For our out of town guests, there are two major airports that service Dallas. 1) Dallas Love Field (DAL) While closer to downtown Dallas (a favorite of Michelle and Eden!), this airport is primarily serviced by Southwest Airlines. 2) Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) About 20-25 minutes northwest of downtown Dallas, this is likely the best option for our guests traveling longer distances (direct flights from Honolulu offered by American Airlines).

Question

WHERE SHOULD WE STAY?

Answer

Since our wedding venue is located on a beautiful, but remote, ranch, we recommend booking hotel accommodations in downtown Dallas, which is about a 40-minute drive from the venue. We apologize for the distance, but we promise the setting will be worth it!

Question

HOW DO WE GET TO THE VENUE?

Answer

To ensure flexibility and reliable transportation, we highly recommend renting a car, as rideshare services like Uber and Lyft will be difficult to find in the surrounding area of the venue. There will be ample parking available on site. For guests who prefer not to drive, we will be arranging coach buses to shuttle guests to and from downtown Dallas and the wedding venue. More details to come!

Question

WILL THE WEDDING BE TAKING PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the late afternoon, followed by an evening reception and dinner in a covered, open-air pavilion on the premises. In the event of inclement weather, all events will be hosted in the covered pavilion.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We’d love for our family and friends to be dressed up and celebrate in style with us! We are requesting semi-formal (cocktail) attire for our wedding. Ladies, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride—such as white, ivory, and cream.

Question

WILL KIDS BE INVITED?

Answer

Yes, if your children are included on the save-the-date notice (and formal invitation), we would love for them to join us! We kindly ask that parents keep a close eye on their little ones, especially during the ceremony. If your child becomes upset or restless, please step away from the ceremony area to ensure that everyone can enjoy the moment. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

While we’d love to accommodate everyone, we are unfortunately limited by space at our venue. If you are invited with a plus one (or more if kids), this will be indicated on your formal RSVP invitation, which will be sent out in January 2025. You can assume that your invitation reflects our final guest list, but if you have any special circumstances, please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Absolutely! However, we kindly ask all our guests to drink responsibly, especially if you plan on driving. Your safety and enjoyment are important to us, so please make arrangements accordingly.
