Our journey began when Deyon stumbled upon Eden’s Instagram profile through his friend Greg, who was living in Austin at the time. Intrigued and eager to connect, Deyon decided to slide into Eden's DMs. The very next weekend, he drove from Austin to Dallas to meet her in person for the first time. Not long after, Eden made her way to Austin to continue the fun, and soon after, Deyon returned to Dallas. They shared a few unforgettable weekends together but ultimately agreed to stay "just friends," recognizing the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Upon Deyon’s return to Seattle, he and Eden made it a point to stay in touch, chatting almost every day and brainstorming ways to reunite across various states. Over the course of the year, Deyon made about five trips to Dallas, showcasing his commitment to maintaining their "friendship." Amidst the ups and downs of defining their relationship, everything changed during a memorable trip to New York City, where Deyon finally asked Eden to make their relationship official. Just a few months later, they decided to take a leap of faith and moved to San Francisco together for Deyon's career. Eventually, they found their way back to Dallas, where their love story blossomed into a beautiful adventure filled with love, laughter, shared experiences, and dreams for the future.
