Where should I stay?

Answer

There are two hotel options listed on the Travel section of this website, but if you prefer to have more private lodging, feel free to look at listings on platforms like AirBnB and VRBO! When choosing a location, we recommend you stay in or around Savannah, Pooler, or Richmond Hill, GA — but if you find a place that's a little further out, the beautiful drive will be worth the extra time!

Average high temperatures are close to 70° with lows getting down to nearly 50°.

I'm flying in. Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport is the best choice! Flying into SSV means you'll have a ~1 hour commute to Tybee Island. Other options include the Atlanta International Airport (~4 hour drive to Tybee) and Charleston (~2.5 hour drive to Tybee) depending on your preferred airline service. All of these airports have direct flights to and from both Chicago and Cincinnati.
