FAQs

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Westin and Jekyll Ocean Club have their own shuttle service that can be used around the island including the wedding venue. For ceremony please request the shuttle before 3:00. If you’re staying at home2suites you may utilize one of these hotel shuttles.

Question

Where exactly is the ceremony?

Answer

If you’re coming from the hotel, it is behind the pool. Otherwise if you’re looking at the hotel, it is to the left and through the red security gate. If you park at the Wharf, walk in the direction of the hotel, but stay on the sidewalk until you see the red security gate.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is formal/black-tie optional. Tuxes and floor-length dresses are great, but so are suits and midi dresses! We'd love to see fun spring colors and personality - don't be afraid to wear something vibrant! The ceremony and cocktail hour are on the grass, so we recommend thicker heels.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to find a seat. If you are arriving via a hotel shuttle please request the shuttle no later than 3:15 pm, as they might be occupied driving other hotel guests.

Question

What should I wear to the welcome party?

Answer

Coastal/beachy casual - imagine what you'd wear to a dinner during a beach getaway! Use the link below to view some outfit inspo from Pinterest! https://pin.it/47mvoViad

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Will there be dinner at the welcome party?

Answer

No, dinner will not be served on Friday, only a small amount of handheld bites. Please check out The Wharf, Tortuga Jacks, Willets (at the Westin), the Wee Pub, or the Pantry for a quick sandwich.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've decided to keep our reception an adults-only event.
