Flight
We flew Delta, not for any particular reason, out of Providence to Costa Rica. I believe there are cheaper options out of Boston if you wanted to check that out. KEEP IN MIND... If you're catching a layover, make sure you give yourself enough time! Airport Code SJO- Also known as Juan Santamaria International Airport

We have a room block here from Friday February 14th- Sunday February 16th. Should you choose to do the same you will have to check with Michael and mention you want to book before the block to see what is available. There are several different types of rooms ranging from the standard room to a master suite. It is considered a boutique hotel so no room is the same. The property is full of amazing views and all kinds of wild life so you won’t be disappointed. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs as well as ramps as the property is carved into a jungle at the top of a mountain. Contact Michael Alvarado to book email specialevents@villacaletas.com

The Marriott Los Suenos is a beautiful resort! Its located about 10 minutes from where the wedding will be. The restaurants here were great. The pools were awesome and also had their own restaurant and bar with full service food and beverage. For you golf nuts, this is a golf resort. We're currently working on room blocks here.
Travel Note
There are so many beautiful options for Air BnBs or VRBOs out there if you don’t prefer hotel stays. JACO/ Herradura is the general area to search for houses, this is where we will be staying after checking out of Villa Caletas (on Feb 16th). There are small condos and bungalows for couples or larger ones like villas for families and bigger groups that sleep up to 25ppl. We’ve talked to several ppl who are getting an airbnb condo in the Los Suenos Resort Gated Community. Plus side to that is staying in the resort area gives you access to the marina beach club which could be a great meeting point for everyone to meet and hang at the pool and swim up bar. If you’re interested or looking for others to fill large Air BnBs don’t hesitate to reach out to us to help you link up with others that may be looking for larger houses.
Travel Note
Once arriving in Costa Rica there are Shuttles, Taxis and Ubers that'll get you to any of the Hotels or Resorts. Its about a 1.5 Drive from the airport to where we'll be. We rented a car for about $100 a day. Driving in Costa Rica was easy. Roads are in great shape. Download Waze, google maps doesn't really work out there. There are a couple tolls along the way that take small bills and credit cards.
