Yvette and Sophia both attended UCR, however it wasn't until a mutual college friends wedding in 2012 (shoutout to Marcella!), a year after they both graduated, that they crossed paths. As fate would have it Sophia moved to LA for work just a short drive from Yvette's, and they were two single girls ready to explore the town. That's how they coined each other the PICs, partners in crime, but more than that they became like the sisters that neither had growing up as they are both only children and could relate on so many levels. Seven years later they've moved passed their single days, but are now partners in crime with planning and being there for all of the exciting events in each others lives!
Jonathan De Leon
Best Man
It was the summer of 1999, when Jonathan and Eddie would first cross paths. Eddie was riding his bike in front of Jonathan's house when suddenly he found himself being chased by a dog named Sammy. Moments later a young boy came out to get the dog and years later the two would become the best of friends in high school. They have been friends for 15+ years, just two kids from the eastside. Eddie doesn't consider Jonathan his best friend but more of his brother. It's very common to find these two enjoying a beer, debating about sports, but sharing a laugh and reminiscing on their teenage antics.
Abby Franko

Abby and Sophia met back in 2011 where they both attended UCR. When Abby decided to join Delta Gamma, Sophia was Abby's "anchor buddy" as Abby joined DG, and then she was lucky enough to become Abby's big sister in DG. Even though Sophia graduated from UCR just a few months after they had met, Abby and Sophia never lost touch. Even if it was just getting together for birthdays, or Abby driving down to Sophia's for Halloween, the two always made it a point to get together. And now to bring it full circle from their college days, the two are now both planning their own weddings, sharing tips and tricks as they navigate the wedding planning process!
Kenner Guerrero

You've probably heard it before - first day, first class, first friend. Eddie met Kenner his first day of college at Cal Poly. Eddie originally wanted to be a Civil Engineer and when taking classes he realized most of the guys were nothing like him (too nerdy) except for one guy who happened to be from an area close to home. Even though Eddie changed majors Kenner and Eddie remained best buds over the course of college. Even reuniting for one more class on their final year, step aerobics. After college Kenner moved away for a couple years, but eventually found his way back to LA. You can catch these guys catching a sports game or playing golf on the regular.
Dhanika Niyathapala

Dhanika and Sophia both attended UCR and were both members of Delta Gamma. And thanks to Delta Gamma, Sophia got the big sister she never had growing up. Back at UCR the two of them also shared a major so they had classes together, and Sophia will never forgot the one time in a lecture class during fall of 2009 when Sophia was joining Delta Gamma and didn't know who her big sister was going to be yet. With Sophia literally sitting next to her, Dhanika tricked Sophia into thinking her big was at her apartment, but to Sophia's excitement at big little reveal it was Dhanika who would be her big sister, and someone she knows will be there for her for life!
Bryce Baker

Bryce and Eddie met their first year of college, but not at school, at work. They started working at Islands a month apart but they quickly became the best of friends due to having the same interests. Bryce and Eddie are adrenaline junkies when around each other always trying to find the next adventure. However when it comes to sports, LeBron James is Bryce's favorite football player and Wayne Gretzky is the greater basketball player of all time. Regardless of his lack of sports knowledge Eddie has always valued Bryce as a friend because of his good morals and his willingness to always help others out.
Nikki Seebach

Nikki and Sophia met back in 2009 where they both attended UCR and were part of the same pledge class when joining Delta Gamma. Little did Nikki know that even though she was already a biological twin, she would be gaining a sorority twin sister in Sophia. When the day finally came for the reveal of big and littles (a process which for their pledge class involved everyone getting a custom decorated champagne flute and then walking around a circle to see who would fill up your flute to reveal them as being your big sister) Nikki and Sophia realized they would be sharing a big sister upon discovering their matching flutes! Ten years later their family bond is still going strong, and Nikki often treks all the way from Riverside to LA to hang out with her sorority family.
Uday Shakour

When Eddie first started working at Farmers he was the youngest guy on his team, however Uday and him quickly hit it off. They were two young guys working at a Fortune 500 and trying to make it. Eddie has always said that Uday is a living example of the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover". While he may be from the Bay Area and is a member of the infamous Raider Nation, he's also the guy who shows up to a tailgate with wine coolers! Uday has one of the biggest hearts of anyone you'll meet, even letting Eddie crash for free at his place for a few weeks when he was having apartment issues. While they may no longer work together they remain the closest of friends.
Beni
Ring Bearer
Beni "the jet" Cuevas is Eddie's nephew and Godson. He has all the energy in the world, and is going to be channeling all of that down the aisle for Eddie and Sophia as their ring bearer. He will also be Sophia Jr's first line of defense.
Noah
Ring Bearer
Noah is Eddie's nephew, and the youngest of the Bernal grandkids. His hobbies include playing with his dog Lola, popping bubbles, watching Peppa Pig, and chowing down on some sopita. Noah also loves hanging out with his cousin Beni, and together they'll be rocking down the aisle as ring bearers.
Eva
Flower Girl
Eva is Eddie's niece. She's the sweetest little girl you'll meet, and she can't wait to rock the aisle for Eddie and Sophia as their flower girl!
