We’re getting married!

In November 2021, on a random Saturday night, Eddie and Regan’s story began. Both happened to be in town visiting Charleston and somehow ended up at the same bar, sitting at the same table. From that moment on, it was history. Neither of them could have imagined what that night would eventually lead to, but there was definitely an undeniable spark between them from the very beginning. At the time, Regan was living in Raleigh, NC, while Eddie was still living in his college town of Columbia, SC, working after graduation at State Farm. Funny enough, they were both in the insurance world — but we’ll leave the boring details out. For the next year and a half, the two spent countless weekends driving back and forth to see each other. Eddie put over 40,000 miles on his brand-new 2021 Sonata, but every mile was worth it. In April 2023, the long-distance chapter finally came to an end when Eddie moved to Raleigh. Soon after beginning their life together in the same city, they faced one of the hardest moments of their relationship with the passing of Eddie’s dad, Alan, in October 2023. They will always be grateful that both of their families were able to come together in North Carolina just a few months earlier in August 2023. At the time, no one knew what the future would bring, but the bond their families created during that weekend has only grown stronger ever since. Alan will forever be deeply missed, and Eddie and Regan know he will always be their guardian angel watching over them. In November 2025, Eddie pulled off the surprise of a lifetime during what Regan thought was just a normal girls’ weekend. Surrounded by so many of their closest friends and family, he asked Regan to marry him — making it one of their favorite weekends and memories they’ll cherish forever. What started as two strangers meeting by chance on a Saturday night turned into a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. Through every mile, every challenge, and every unforgettable memory, Eddie and Regan built a partnership rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. Now, they cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter together and spend forever side by side.
