Once upon a time, there was a boy who fell in love with a girl... Let’s take you back to that very moment of when Eddie knew he would marry that girl and proclaim her to be his future wife. It was a typical weekday morning inside building 5 at the University of Phoenix campus and employees had just relocated into their new offices when Eddie caught a glimpse of a curly haired cutie sitting a few rows from him. She was chatting it up with her coworker gleefully and sporting a beautiful smile to go along with her friendly disposition. As if a bolt of lighting had hit his heart, he knew he was going to marry her. He did not know how or when he would pull this off, yet he stayed vigilant to an opportunity if it presented itself to him. A few months passed and after getting to know their colleagues better, Eddie found his opportunity. It was during a happy hour where several “UOP’ers” agreed to meet up and get our weekend started off early. Always one to get a chuckle out of anyone he speaks to, Eddie approached with the intent to see how much of a sense of humor, if any, Misty had. Once officially introduced, Eddie began to go get a rise out of Misty and her friend Kim. Misty was not amused. Not one bit. He recalls the look she gave him as if he was from a different solar system. This only made Eddie try even harder to no avail. Misty then told Eddie that she already had a man in her life and that she would not trade him for any other man no matter what. After meeting her Yorkiepoo Teddy, Eddie understood what she meant. R.I.P Teddy. Fast forward 10 years and their same friend Kim was hosting a SuperBowl 51 party. Kim knew Misty was interested in him and gave Eddie a nudge. Once Eddie knew he had a chance, he took it! Thank you Kimmy! The next day, they had their first date. The rest, after that, was history. Now they have a beautiful home, loving fur baby, shout out to Zoey Marlee, and their beautiful baby boy Maximilliano.
