Three years ago, I got a random DM asking me to rate my recent trip to South Africa on a scale of 1-10. Normally, I ignore message requests—but when I saw how beautiful she was, curiosity won. Turns out, Michelle was following mutual friend, which led her to my stories (and, lucky for me, to my inbox). Within 24 hours, we were texting, calling, and laughing like old friends, only to realize we had just missed each other at an event the week before. From that moment, it was pure joy.
