Lithia Park has many trails, ponds, and a new Japanese Garden to explore. And it borders downtown Ashland!
Ashland has a small downtown with lots of boutique shops, restaurants, and is home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
Crater Lake is Oregon’s only National Park and is about a 2 hour drive from Medford. If you have an extra day the views and scenic drive are worth the time!
Jacksonville has a historic downtown area that is walkable. You can also walk up to the park where the Britt Festival is held every summer and walk along trails with views of the Rogue Valley.
The Rogue River has some great white water rafting! You can either rent a raft and go on your own or go with a guide. There are other rafting opportunities in Ashland or Gold Hill, depending on where you are staying Shady Cove is just the most popular spot.
