The story begins before they even met. Their Pastor met Mé and saw something special in her enough to mention her to Eddie before she even visited the church. Mé's faith in God had led her to visit House of Prayer and Restoration in March 2023. It was always a pleasant exchange between Mé and Eddie as she resumed a steady attendance. Mé was always very elegant and professionally dressed. She was very polite and open to express a genuine "hello." One day in June, Eddie and Mé had a conversation about health and exercise after church. Young Eduardo made a strategic inquiry about Mé's infamous water bottle. He was courageous but calm and asked Mé if she would like to go on a walk on the Tappan Zee (now the Mario Cuomo) Bridge Exercise Path. Mé said "Yes! I can...in three weeks." Eddie thought Mé was gently letting him down, but Mé had two events two weeks in a row. BUT... she was still interested. Fast forward to OCTOBER (yes) Eddie made a second attempt to ask Mé out after receiving very valuable information from a Friend, instructing him to pick up the phone and call her. The two went on their first date in November and they've been inseparable since. Their love for the Jesus, food, exercising, music, and spending quality time with one another has made their relationship thrive quickly. Before they knew it, a year had passed. Eddie did not want another year to go by just as fast and figured they should get married. Eddie and Mé are overwhelmed with gratitude towards God. The evidence of His grace, mercy and healing has been with them every step of the way. Eddie and Mé look forward to building a life together that is fully surrendered to God in a way that can be a blessing to you all.
