It all started with Winter Break freshmen year at York College in 2010. Mary had seen Eddie around school in the Fall, was home on Winter break and sent him a friend request on Facebook (bold - we know!) when he popped up in her suggestions. After a short intro, they found themselves speaking constantly throughout the day until returning to school for classes. After much encouragement from their friends and dorm hall mates, Eddie and Mary agreed to meet up at one of the very wholesome student gatherings at the Rugby team house. In that very clean basement, they locked eyes, shared in conversation over the delicacy that is jungle juice ladeled into red solo cups out of a cooler. It was love - They didnt know yet.

After freshman year, life would pull them miles and miles away from each other, and take them each on very different paths over the next decade or so. We'll spare you the details of the many times we tiptoed around the idea of us giving things another shot despite the odds. For a few years there, Eddie and Mary hadn't kept in contact as much as before... yet always seemed to be on the same page when getting back in touch. Eddie reached out one evening, having had the "aha!" moment.

After a few months of deciding to give things an honest shot, the first vacation to Puerto Rico came about. Little did Mary know of the surprise that awaited. After arriving in Rincon, they went for a walk on the beach as the sun was about to set. Eddie popped the question and all came full circle. We can't wait to share with you all on the next steps in our journey by bringing it back to where we said forever and always!
