Our story starts in September 2019. I met Eddie on my first day of work when he gave me a tour of our office. Since that day, we both would try to see each other as much as we could during the work day, whether that was purposely walking by each other's desks or talking in the kitchen. In January 2020, we went on our first date in Baltimore for brunch and what was supposed to be just a breakfast date lasted until late that night. We walked for miles throughout the city, talking, laughing, and getting to know each other more. Neither of us wanted the day to end. Eddie's adventurous side surely rubbed off on me from canoeing 30 miles together to camping in the woods and going on several hikes; I wouldn't want to explore with anyone else. 2022 was not only a big year due to our engagement, but I also bought my Yiayia's (grandmother in Greek) house. This past year we have completely renovated and turned this very special place into our home. Although I don't think either of us would paint an entire house again, we both learned a lot and have grown even closer during this process. 2023 is going to be a big year for us and we cannot wait to continue to grow and make more amazing memories together. We undoubtedly knew early on that we wanted to build a life together and cannot wait to become husband and wife this year.
