Love at first pour! While at a party, Kerry went to refill her beer at the keg, and Eddie was in her way. They struck up a conversation when Eddie offered to fill her beer, and Kerry insisted she could do it herself. They parted ways only to continue bumping into each other at the party and chatting. It's a wonder that Eddie was able to charm Kerry while he was wearing sweatpant shorts and a flannel. From that day on, we were inseparable.

We went for a hike on our eleventh anniversary on a beautiful morning. We hiked up to the ledge overlooking Lake Wicwas, where Eddie spent a lot time growing up. Eddie had convinced Kerry to see if her camera could zoom across the lake to where his grandparents' old house was. While Kerry was busying herself with swapping her camera lens and setting up the tripod, Eddie got down on one knee, for Kerry to turn around to see him kneeling with the beautiful lake backdrop behind him. She said YES!
