Should we rent a car or are there ride shares available?

Answer

We strongly suggest to rent a car as there is no reliable public transportation on the island. Ride shares are available such as UBER or LYFT. However, this is not readily available in the smaller towns. If you need a Driver, to visit areas, airport pick up or hotel drop off, we have contacts who will be available for you. Let us know if you would like to coordinate with them.

What activities can you do in the area of Las Croabas?

Answer

There are lots of outdoor activities within walking distance. Kayaking, beaches, trail walks, jet ski, stand up paddle boarding are all within the barrio. The ferry station to Culebra and Vieques is about 20 minutes away.

How do you get to Culebra from Las Croabas?

Answer

The island of Culebra is about a 45 minute ferry ride from the Ceiba ferry station. We suggest visiting Flamenco beach if you are going for a day trip. The ferry station is only 20 minutes away from Las Croabas. A great way to spend the day and it will only cost $9 round trip!

We are about 1 hour away from OSJ. The airport is about 20 minutes from OSJ.

Is this venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

It’s BOTH! This is an open air space - El Yate Restaurant at Puerto Chico Marina. As the occasion takes place in December, the weather will be warm, breezy and you will be by the water. However, we are in the Caribbean, so be prepared for quick changes in weather.

Is there parking at the venue.

Yes! Parking is free and on the premises.

What’s the attire for the occasion?

Answer

For Women: Flowing maxi dresses, sundresses, or elegant jumpsuits made from light, breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, or silk. Opt for tropical prints, bold colors, or neutral tones to fit the island vibe. Accessories such as statement jewelry, woven clutches, and wedge heels or dressy flats complete the look. For Men: Lightweight linen or cotton button-down shirts, often in neutral or pastel tones. Pair with tailored chinos or dress pants. A blazer can be added for a more formal touch. Dress shoes like loafers or leather moccasins are appropriate for a polished finish.
