In the fall of 2013, sometime around November, Eddie and I had dating profiles online. Eddie saw my profile and decided to send me a message. Meanwhile, I was reluctant to answer. I thought chivalry was dead and gentlemen were basically non existent. Lucky for me, Eddie was nothing but respectful in every message. Every conversation began with "Good morning beautiful". He showed a genuine interest to get to know me. Eddie always asked how my day was and how my son was doing. And not a day would pass without him asking for us to meet and to take me out. This was an almost daily routine for 3 months straight. He was very persistent. Meanwhile, I wouldn't give him my number or any other social media information. I was still not sure about his intentions. With my walls up, I wouldn't budge, but I secretly looked forward to his messages every day. Slowly, he convinced me he was different. The Alas wedding came around that December, with love in the air and Eddie's persistent romantic messages wearing me down. I finally decided to give him my number. The daily messages continued, we talked all the time and we had started to face-time. We kept in touch all through Christmas and New Year's while deciding when to meet. Eddie was going away to California for a week after the new year. So I agreed he can come to NJ when he got back. To my surprise, he came to visit me the very day he landed. We spent an amazing first day together, we shared an amazing kiss and have been inseparable ever since.
