Erica & Eddie

Wedding Party

Erica Kraetz

Bride

Eddie Andert

Groom

Andrea Kraetz

Maid of Honor

My relationship with my sister, Erica, started off in the most rocky of ways: being born on Christmas and delaying all of her presents. Since then, I think she has forgiven me for this, but I still hear the story every Christmas. From teaching me to drive, to providing dogs and cats to hang out with, to being one of my first drinking buddies, she is one of the best sisters ever. She deserves someone as great as Eddie (who is basically already part of the family). I'm so excited to see her finally marry her man.

Brent Mickle

Best Man

I have known Eddie since we were little. Ever since the 1st or 2nd grade during youth soccer. I met Erica when I briefly made my way down to Tempe to stay with Eddie and his roommates for Halloween weekend. We have so many memories together, I could probably list out a ten page book of summarized events. Most notable is all the times I've spent the night and we stayed up playing Halo until 5 in the morning, the lengths we went through to go out drinking in high school, the countless ski trips, the countless lake trips, and even our expensive destination trips. I am most looking forward to Emmett, my son, passing the rings over to each of you and seeing your smiling faces

Elizabeth Flood

Maid of Honor

I have my husband to thank for my friendship with Erica. If I wasn't dating him in college then I wouldn't know Eddie, and if I didn't know Eddie then I wouldn't have ever known the firecracker of a human being that he found to spend the rest of his life with. We would have never sweat every ounce of salt out of our bodies in Paris. We wouldn't have walked through the streets of Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls at 6:00am with the scent of an all night, city wide party wafting up from every gutter. Most importantly, though, I wouldn't have a friend to share hangovers and breakfast burritos with. Erica has always been my partner in drunken crime (not literally). I can't wait to celebrate the lifelong love of Eddie and Erica - I know their wedding will be a memory for the books.

Skyler Flood

Groomsman

I met Eddie at 10 years old and since then we have shared approximately 6 years of soccer, 10 road trips, 350 hours of snowboarding, and 2500 beers. How can you describe this friendship without telling the story about Eddie running like a dinosaur, or the state championship soccer game, or the road trip to Portland, or their first time drinking together where Eddie threw up after one IPA, or wandering around in a snowstorm looking for Eddie's lost phone, or Eddie waking up with a mouth full of gummy bears in a bathroom in Mexico during spring break? If our friendship were a human, it would be old enough to vote. I will have to save the rest of his storytelling for the wedding - if you're in the mood for an inappropriate Eddie story, bring the groomsman with the high pitched voice a beer.

Lauren Brunacini

Bridesmaid

I have been friends with Erica since our freshman year in high school. Most of my memories from high school are of us laughing together about something, but I'll never forget Erica stuffing food from her lunches into my knee immobilizer after I fell off a horse. Since we were both at ASU together as well, I also remember Erica telling me about when she and Eddie first met. Seeing how their relationship has grown over the years, especially how happy Eddie has made Erica, is the best thing a friend could ask for and I'm excited to see them take their next steps together as a married couple. Fun facts about me include that I work as an engineer in Tucson and I've got plenty of embarrassing high school pictures for anyone that would like to see them!

Mitchell Andert

Groomsman

My earliest known interactions with Eddie is when he sucked my hand up in a vacuum cleaner on my first birthday. I thanked him soon after by pooping all over his favorite Pumba chair, which I think he forgave me for a couple of years ago! After he left for college and I left for the Marine Corps I lost my annoying little brother status and we grew much closer. Since then I have traveled the world and been on some of the greatest adventures of my life with him: visiting the West Coast ski resorts and backpacking through almost every country in Europe. Eddie has taught me a lot of things in life, but first and foremost Eddie has taught me what a relationship and love are supposed to look like. What Eddie and Erica have is, in my opinion, the definition of a perfect relationship.

Shannon Musick

Bridesmaid

My friendship with Erica started with Eddie, a box of wine and a half-eaten stick of butter on Thanksgiving. From that day on, our relationship stayed just as unique and food oriented as that first interaction. Erica and I have always bonded over the joys of eating, drinking margaritas, cooking and planning. The amount of time we have spent on Pinterest together, planning crafts, recipes and home décor, could probably break records. So, it’s only natural that we discussed exactly what her engagement ring should look like. I felt so honored when Eddie asked me to help pick out Erica’s ring I was even more honored to get to witness the moment he proposed! After years of friendship, I finally get to stand with her and watch her marry the perfect man for her.

Casey Harvill

Groomsman

Eddie's youngest brother

Stephanie Scarcello

Bridesmaid

Erica and I first met in the grim hallways of our nursing school, where luckily we grew to become great friends. My favorite memories with Erica involve our coffee dates where we pretended to study for the nursing boards, but really just ended up talking for hours about everything but nursing. Whether it’s nursing school, bar crawls, lake days, halloween parties, or drinking a little too much and tearing ACLs, Erica is constantly a joy to be around. She has the biggest heart of anyone i’ve ever met, and probably the loudest laugh. Im so excited for her and Eddie to finally seal the deal. They are so perfect for each other and I am honored to be a part of their special day. Im also excited for the party to follow afterwards, where hopefully no ligaments will be torn.

Austin Deveny

Groomsman

I met Eddie in the dorms while researching world record splooges with Julio and I met Erica at the lake! Thought she was super quiet at first. Thanks to me, Eddie gained the nickname, Eduardo Rodriguez. My favorite memories with Eddie are San Diego, pool parties, and lake trips! Very happy to have you guys to be weekend warriors with and relax on the water. I’m excited to celebrate a great example of a healthy relationship coming to fruition. Also excited support my friends in every way I can.

Darcy Fowler

Bridesmaid

Darcy first met Erica during their time at Xavier. Throughout their years there, they became very close. Many a nights were spent watching scary movies and laughing hysterically from nothing at all. They remained close during their time spent apart during college when Darcy went to University of Kansas for college (go Jayhawks!). Darcy was always there for Erica when she needed to talk and was one of the first friends to be told about Eddie. Darcy is very excited to standby Erica and marry her Edward.

Andrew Chesley

Groomsman

Eddie joined Theta Tau, the engineering fraternity. It was not until we had a class together (I believe it was physics 2) that we really got to know each other. I went with Eddie and to Lake Pleasant where we met up with Mitchel and hung out for the night. We drank beer and I cooked a crawdad and ate it. Spent the next day messing around on the jet ski’s, trying to get the front end out of the water. A fun fact about myself, is that I own Photon, Thor's mom. My favorite memory with Eddie and Erica are the Lake Havasu 4th of July trips! I am excited for the party at the reception because I feel like Eddie and Erica are already married.

Christina Tomaszewski

Bridesmaid

Dheeraj Lokam

Officiant

It was my day 1 at Compiler Microarchitecture Lab, Eddie walked in with 'Cosmos' (the robot) for a demo of their startup 'Infinibotics'. He ended up becoming the first friend I made in this country. He then invited me to a lake trip (Bartlett) the following week, where I met Erica and everybody else in the gang! It ended up becoming the start of my amazing journey with them. I am the only friend who got a speeding ticket on a lake & definitely the only one had to pass an online "boating license test" to ride the jet skis. I've known Eddie and Erica for 6 years now & they are the closest thing to a family that I have, ever since I moved to this country. I'm incapable of thinking about them as two separate people. So, as far as my mind is concerned, they already are married souls.
