We're getting married!

Eddie and Elaine crossed paths when they attended UMBC in 2012. Back then, they were in different social circles, but they knew each other. Their time at UMBC led them to be friends on Facebook and Instagram. It wasn't until 10 years later that they really connected and started to talk on social media. Eddie messaged Elaine. Elaine responded back quickly. They began talking more frequently about food, kayaks, and more food. Elaine asked Eddie to accompany her to see a local live band at the Taphouse in Southern MD. Finally, they had their first date... despite living 2 hours away from each other! They spent the next several months talking every day and seeing each other every weekend. They found the time to see each other while Eddie was in school with two jobs. Eddie and Elaine became best friends. The relationship they built with each other has been filled with exciting milestones. They supported each other through school, moving, career changes, purchasing their first home, shopping at Ace Hardware, and building a family together!

In May of 2022, Eddie and Elaine went on a date to their favorite restaurant at Guapos in Rockville, MD. Eating good food is their favorite pastime activity, especially when it involves devouring tacos or fajitas! While enjoying fajitas, they discussed their future and their favorite memories of each other. Eddie told Elaine that he couldn't see life without her and asked the question. She said yes before he got down on his knee! They began the next phase of their journey together leading us to the exciting celebration in store this August!
