It all began with something simple—a message. Danny and I were both Zumba instructors for Chuze Fitness, living separate lives. He taught in Orange County, and I taught in the Inland Empire. We were both born in the United States, proudly carrying our Honduran and Mexican roots, something that would later connect us even more through music and dance. One day, a Facebook message turned into a conversation. We talked about teaching, music, and life. It felt easy, natural—like something was building without us even realizing it. Everything changed when I invited him to a Zumba fundraiser. That night, I danced to one of his favorite songs, *Tu Dama de Hierro*, and he joined me. It felt effortless, like we had always danced together. Then came a punta song from Honduras, and again we moved as one. The crowd cheered, but more than that, they saw what we felt—our smiles, our eyes, our connection. It felt like love at first sight. Days later, we went out to 340 in Pomona. Between the music, laughter, and the way we couldn’t stop looking at each other, we knew this was something real. On January 1st, 2019, Danny asked me to be his boyfriend. Since then, we’ve shared a journey full of love, challenges, and growth. We’ve traveled the world—Spain, Italy, France, Amsterdam, England, Switzerland, Honduras, Mexico, El Salvador, Cancún, Texas, New York, Las Vegas, and Nashville. Also, we had visited Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Disney Paris —creating memories that shaped our story. After almost eight years together, we’ve decided to take the next step—we’re getting married next June. Our story started with a message, a dance, and a feeling, and it grew into something beautiful. And the best part is… It’s still being written. Our First Picture, Nuestra Primera Foto
