We've Got Answers

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is cocktail attire. Please no jeans or denim.

Question

What is considered cocktail attire?

Answer

Examples include suits, sports coats and dress pants, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses (mini, midi, knee-length, or full- length).

Question

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We will be in dressy casual attire - dresses, khakis, collared shirts. There isn't a specific dress code for this though! Please feel free to wear whatever you're comfortable in.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones -- we really do. However, we respectfully request no children. We hope you can take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with your significant other or enjoy a night out to yourself. We appreciate you making prior arrangements.

Question

Can I bring a guest/+1s not listed on the invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?

Answer

We are planning to have the wedding ceremony outside with the potential for an indoor ceremony depending on the weather. Cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. Before and after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us. Please be sure to tip your bartenders!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30, we recommend you aim to arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to enjoy the scenery and find a seat. There will be no late entries once the ceremony has started. Please plan accordingly!
