When should I arrive?

Answer

As our wedding is the same weekend as the NC State Fair, we strongly suggest giving yourself extra time to arrive to the venue on time. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5pm ET.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless your invitation includes a plus one.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the Rose Garden of The University Club, which is outside. The reception will be in the Lutz Ballroom of The University Club, which is inside.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will take pictures nearby for 30 minutes. Guests may head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour prior to dinner and dancing.

Where should I park?

There is free parking onsite.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes, a full buffet will be served. Vegetarian options will be available to accommodate all of our guests.

Do I need to wear my mask?

Answer

At this time, we are following all University Club guidelines. The Player's Retreat (where the after party will be held) requires proof of vaccination to be permitted inside. If you want the shots, you gotta get the shot!
