Question
Is this a wedding? What can I expect for the evening?
Answer
We've decided to hold a private marriage ceremony beforehand at the District of Columbia Courthouse. For this event, think reception and party to celebrate our marriage! The event is indoors and will have dinner, drinks, and dancing. We can't wait to spend time with those closest to us and celebrate.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Nope! This is the main event. We want to make sure people can have flexible travel schedules and/or have time to explore ATL.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Invitations are forthcoming in Spring 2024 with RSVPs requested by July 1, 2024. If you know you can't make it, we understand! Please let us know at your earliest convenience.

Is there a dress code?

Summer cocktail attire is appropriate.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Absolutely! We aren't holding a room block and there are tons of options in the area. See the "Travel" tab for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No. The Piedmont Room is centrally located in midtown Atlanta and easily accessible by Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare services.

Is there parking for the event?
Answer
There is on-site parking that is complementary--however, be sure to get a ticket from the attendant and place it on your dashboard. We strongly suggest taking Uber or Lyft as an alternative!

I have a food allergy or dietary requirement, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! Please email us at bencec@gmail.com as soon as you can to let us know. Our menu will include both meat and vegetarian options at the food stations.
