What is the dress code?

Answer

Think nice sundresses, button-downs, and dressy flats or wedges (grass-friendly shoes recommended!). We kindly ask guests to dress nicely to celebrate with us!

Where are the ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Uncle Tim & Aunt Tammy's house in their beautiful backyard in Vassar, MI.

What time should I arrive?

Please aim to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for seating.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are welcome! We kindly ask that parents supervise their own children throughout the day.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The house is located on a secluded drive. Parking will be along the road in front of the house.

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

We are not reserving a hotel block. There is information about nearby hotels in the Travel page.

Can I bring a plus-one?

If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will appear on your invitation.

What is the food and drink situation?

Answer

Food will be provided (we are planning for pizza as this is one of our favorite foods!). If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP as we will plan for this so you have options to eat! There will be some alcohol, soft drinks and water. After ceremony: Charcuterie, Pretzels with cheese, Veggie Tray Dinner: Pizza options & Salad (Garden) Dessert: Cake, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, Raspberry bars

Is the ceremony unplugged?

We kindly asks guests to refrain from having their phones out during the ceremony.

What's the weather usually like?

Answer

That depends on where you're coming from! If you're from Michigan, the weather should be beautiful in late June. If you're coming from Florida, it's possible that you might feel a bit of a chill. Typically, June in Michigan is mild - think 70s.

Are there any accessibility considerations?

Answer

Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be in a backyard. The grass could be uneven and there is also a hill down to where the ceremony will be held.
