Maid of Honor
Aubrey has been witness to our story from the very beginning. We shared a happy home for three years and in that time, I met and fell in love with Edward. She knew before I did.
Best Man
Edward met this bearded beaut where many great things happened for him, on stage. Over many a midnight meal at Choo Choo and WaHo, the two bonded over their eclectic musical tastes, Eminem to Sondheim. Through road trips they'll never forget and spring breaks they can't remember, Ed and Wes's friendship is always ready to pick up right where it left off.
Bridesmaid
My biggest inspiration and influence, Heather has been crushing the big sister game for as long as I can remember.
Groomsman
Family functions are where these two really found their groove. Ed and Steve will inch their way towards a quieter corner to chat about beer, soccer, musicals, or whatever comes to mind. Steve's boundless curiosity makes him a wonderful conversationalist. That curiosity is matched only by his kindness. Though Edward can never forgive Steve for that fake handshake before the Easter Egg Hunt, he'll be proud to call him brother.
Bridesmaid
At once one of the funniest and most serious people I know, Amy never fails to make me laugh or to help me see things more clearly.
Groomsman
Though high school geometry is enthralling, it couldn't keep Ed and Dave rapt enough to forego shenanigans in the back of class. By the time they shared an apartment at UGA, they'd developed a debaucherous rapport that still makes Ed's dad question how much studying got done. Even in moments of heated debate, David can still waylay Edward's frustration by insisting that he must just be acting. David is a Damn Good Dawg.
Bridesmaid
We met on the first day of sixth grade and the rest is history. We've seen each other through nearly every major life experience in almost twenty years, and I cannot imagine it having been any other way.
Groomswoman
Post college apprenticeships can be times of deep discovery as you transition towards reality while clinging to the joys of campus life. Katie and Edward's friendship helped to find the perfect balance. After rehearsal conversations shaped who they are as artists and people. Memorial Day 2015 helped them realize that maybe the Malibu tequila/rum combo isn't best for extended poolside drinking. Katie is a great barometer for truth and always ready to explore the culinary wonders of Buford Hwy.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I met during Variety Show my freshman year of high school and it was like a revelation. Though she moved away 13 years ago, she still inspires me to be the most authentic and playful version of myself. I can never go too long without a Katie fix.
Groomsman
Jordan and Edward are both quite fluent in snarky sarcasm. Pair that with Southern charm and a strong IPA, and these two were bound for friendship. On stage, Jor and Eddie always seem to end up in costumes skimpier than expected. Off stage, they're just in search of a chill time and copious amounts of cheap eats. Chicago feels more like home with Jordan around.
