Maid of Honor
(Older) Sister of the Bride, in addition to the titles of best friend, former boss, and former roomie. Their 7-year gap didn't treat her + Meg well growing up, but fortunately they've learned to like each other MUCH more over the years.
Bridesmaid
College Friend of the Bride, who basically shared a domestic partnership with Meg after 8 straight years of living together in Champaign + Chicago.
Bridesmaid
High School Friend of the Bride, who is known for being part of the glue that holds their Orchard friend group together.
Bridesmaid
College Friend of the Bride. She brings the energy to every occasion, and never wants a good party to end.
Bridesmaid
High School Friend of the Bride, and resident "woo" girl of the group. She's pretty much been manifesting this wedding since the day she met Eddie.
Bridesmaid
College Friend of the Bride. She has a coordinated routine to "Runaround Sue" and isn't afraid to bust it out on any dance floor.
Junior Bridesmaid
Niece of the Bride, who will likely steal the show with some sort of dance performance at the reception.
Flower Girl
Niece of the Bride. May or may not be showing up to the wedding in a Frozen princess ballgown.
Best Man
High School Friend of the Groom, who would rather be fishing.
Groomsman
High School Friend of the Groom, who loves sports so you should definitely ask him about them at the wedding.
Groomsman
College Friend of the Groom. Good chance he has hunting gear on under his tux ("just in case").
Groomsman
High School + College Friend of the Groom, who would have played college ball if not for a shoulder injury.
Groomsman
College Friend of the Groom. Full-time meat connoisseur, part-time Packers fan. If you see him empty handed, he's looking for a Jack + Coke.
Groomsman
College Friend of the Groom. If found, please return to the hotel front desk.
Usher
(Oldest) Brother of the Bride. Used to moonlight as a piano player at family weddings – just in case we're in need of a last minute sub.
Usher
(Older) Brother of the Bride, and has graciously volunteered as tribute to lead a conga line at the reception.
Ring Bearer
Nephew of the Bride. He has an official title of Ring Bearer, but is actually more of an aspiring Program Attendant with his older cousins.
Program Attendant
Nephew of the Bride, who is a cool high schooler now so hopefully he still accepts this role by the time of the wedding.
Program Attendant
Nephew of the Bride, who knows more about football than any other middle schooler around. Formerly loved dressing up in costumes for events so is looking forward to wearing a tux.
First Reading
(Oldest) Sister of the Groom. When she's not spending her time teaching America's youth, you can find her hiking or in the nearest body of water.
Second Reading
*Dr. Ashley Barry* is the (Older) Sister of the Groom, and is always prepared for anything + everything. Known for her extraordinary gift giving + baking skills.
Prayers of the Faithful
Sister-in-Law of the Bride, who can instantly win anyone over with her famous Oreo Balls.
Presentation of the Gifts
Father of the Groom, who quietly sat back and watched our relationship fall into place. He works for the CBOE, where he and the Father of the Bride met decades ago. Has been known to have a few magic tricks up his sleeve.
Presentation of the Gifts
Mother of the Groom, who is responsible for colluding with the Mother of the Bride on our initial setup. She kindly asked Eddie for permission to share his number with Meg, which lead to our first date in 2019.
Presentation of the Gifts
Father of the Bride, who is responsible for winning a trip to the Caymans back in 2013 and inviting the Parents of the Groom. This is when their friendship really started to flourish and they learned they each had children available to setup.
Presentation of the Gifts
Mother of the Bride, who is responsible for colluding with the Mother of the Groom on our initial setup. She deserves credit for encouraging Meg to text Eddie after the Mulliganeers St. Pat's party in March 2020 (although he beat her to it and texted her right before she sent hers!).
