FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ed Ringwood and Lauren Condon
Question

What's the venue?

Answer

St Joseph's Cathedral was established in St Alban's in 1839 and has recently been restored into a beautiful guesthouse that retains all the original character of the church. The church isn't a hosted wedding venue but we've worked with some wonderful suppliers to bring together this wedding. This means there will be a few quirks throughout the day but we promise to let you know in advance! As you enjoy the day, please also treat the church and grounds with respect.

Question

How does the wedding transport work?

Answer

Once we have confirmed RSVPs and accommodation details, we'll build a pick-up and drop-off schedule. In the lead up to the wedding, we'll send you the details of when you will be picked up from your accommodation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Black tie (optional). What does that mean? Basically that it's black tie or close enough to it. We're not sticklers for a dress code so wear something that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. Bonus points if it's a little bit over the top. We will be on grass for most of the evening, so block heels are suggested over stilettos. Better yet, wear some boots.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please add any dietaries to your RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There's limited parking onsite - please just give us the heads up if you plan to drive so we can organise the space to accommodate all cars.
