Please help us celebrate our wedding at our home this August. Children welcome.
We were all set to marry on April 4, 2020... but the globe had other plans! Unable to be joined by our family or friends, we dressed in our coziest pjs and winter coats to marry amongst our beloved oak trees. Ed rallied the crew, Ewan officiated, Cara photographed, Jamie baked a cake, and Anya insisted that we ‘kiss like a real married couple and hold hands!’ It was a special day that we honor as our anniversary- and we vowed to throw a big party when the timing was right! Expecting a baby in November 2020 and with no end in sight of the shutdown, we legally married June 23, 2020. Nothing says romance like reading government scripted vows to a stranger over speaker phone. Since 2020, we have made time for many celebrations, but have wanted to celebrate our wedding on our land with our community when the timing was right. We have used the past five years to grow collectively and as individuals, and have developed our home and family into something worthy of a celebration. We work hard to keep our big family tree thriving and connected, and love our rich community. There’s no time like the present to toast to love, and we hope you will help us celebrate our first 5 years together! Please click through this website to learn about the event details for our 2025 celebration. Kindly RSVP to Jamie or Ed by July 1st.
