We were fourteen and fifteen when it started, walking the halls at Edison Tech. We were that high school couple making our things fit in the locker we shared but we had that kind of love that felt too big for lockers and hallways. So many people thought it was just Puppy Love, But we decided to let our relationship grow naturally into whatever it was meant to be. Over time after learning each other, enjoying all the good times, bouncing back from the bad times, building our lives independently and together we knew this was meant to be forever. College was a trying part of our relationship. Different campuses, late-night calls, and learning who we were without each other standing right there. Distance tested us and so did doubt. So did becoming new versions of ourselves and wondering if the other would still fit. Somehow, we always did. Not because it was easy—but because we chose each other, again and again. We've built our life brick by brick. Jobs, small apartments, big dreams. Then children—tiny hands wrapped around fingers that had held on for years. We learned how to be parents together, how to be tired, patient, and still in love. In the end, we weren’t just two people who stayed but we are one story—shaped by time, stretched by change, and stitched together by choosing each other every single day.
