Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than December 30, 2024 via our website. If we have not received an answer by then you will be marked “not attending”. The reason for this is that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited number of guests we can have at our venue, the number of seats reserved for you will be listed on your invitation and when you go to RSVP.

Question

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP at the link below! *Link will become available after official invites are sent out*

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be allowing people to take photos and videos. However!!, please note that our photographer is there for a reason so we ask that whatever you choose to do does not interfere with her being able to do her job! We also ask that you do not get out of your seat or use flash at any point during the ceremony.

Question

When can I share pictures of your wedding to social media?

Answer

We are so happy that you want to share our day with your friends and family on your social media. We kindly ask that you wait to post any pictures until after the bride and groom have a chance to do so first. To give you an estimate, the newlyweds should have something posted within 48 hours of the wedding and we’d love for you to share your pictures and videos from the night after that!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes!!! The bride and groom absolutely adore kids and would love for them to come with you. Your kid’s names should be listed on your list when you go to RSVP and you can let us know if they will be attending or not at that point.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Unfortunately no, there will not be alcohol at the wedding. We want our guests to be able to fully enjoy our wedding without the risks that alcohol can potentially bring.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking all our guests to match our color scheme so that all our pictures look as cohesive as possible! On the website we have a section called "Guest Attire Inspo" to help you get an idea of what we would like you to wear. We don’t expect you to go buy a new dress, just do your best to find something with the same vibes as what is shown, we have tons of options in hopes that everyone will have something!

Question

Okay but do I have to stick to the Inspo? What about the dress code?

Answer

It’s a suggestion. If you want to wear black, go for it! Navy blue? sure! We’re looking for cohesion. Think semi-formal, spring, tea party vibes. Wear a print, wear something fun, try a new color you’ve never worn! How cool does it look when you show up at a sporting event and there’s a sea of people all wearing the same colors?! It’s fun! Don’t over think it, don’t go spend a ton of money to make it happen. We would love to see everyone just give it their best effort. Maybe just leave the fall colors/warm tones at home. We also ask for you to not come in jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, or colors reserved for the bride (i.e solid white, cream, ivory).

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes! When gps-ing the address it will take you to the front parking lot. That is reserved for handicap and wedding party, however, we will have arrows staked in the ground pointing you in the right direction of the guest parking lot! It will be in the big grassy area behind the venue building where you see the poles strung with lights.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. We suggest arriving at least 15-20 minutes early to find a seat and socialize before the wedding begins!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the bridal party will be taking photos around the venue for an hour or so. Guests can enjoy social hour with the couple’s favorite snacks and drinks while playing yard games and mingling on the side lawn.

Question

We're not from the area, what should we do?

Answer

Both Vernon, the town of the wedding, and Chipley, the neighboring town, are extremely small. We recommend staying somewhere along the Panama City Beach coast and neighboring area to have plenty of options and a quality stay.

Question

Where will the wedding be?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, so please be watching the weather to know how to dress so you don't get cold/hot! The reception will be held indoors so if you feel like you might get hot please be prepared for that too!

Question

What is the weather typically like?

Answer

For some context, the weather in the area is typically still pretty chilly at the end of February. Please be advised, we don't know for sure that this is what the weather will be but based on past predictions and our experience with the area, this can be used as a guide for choosing what to wear.

Question

What time will the wedding end?

Answer

We have decided to do a fake exit because we want everyone to participate but know certain things like kids and driving late at night are issues for some. This will happen around 7pm after dinner, dances and all the important events we know you're there to see! After the fake exit we will come back inside for the party part of the reception where you are welcome to head home if that is not your scene.

Question

What if I have another question?
