Sailing Through the Winter Solstice
Carroll Creek Linear Park, Frederick, MD 21701
Every year Carroll Creek Park is filled with individually designed lighted sailboats. This floating light installation sets sail in November and is on display through March. This is a really cute downtown staple in Frederick every Winter. You can walk along Carroll Creek while admiring the boats and grab some hot chocolate and smores from vendors.

Frederick has a few micro-breweries on Carroll Creek that you can walk to. There is Steinhardt Brewery, Idiom Brewing Co., and Attaboy Beer all right near each other.
