Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception is at Avonlea Farms in Mineral, Va. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, and our reception, followed by drinks and dancing, will be covered in the most beautiful greenhouse and patio area!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail, and we'd love to see all of our loved ones dressed up with us! Ladies, think knee-length/midi or maxi dresses or pant suits - our venue is grassy, so if you plan to wear heels just take that into consideration. Men, think suits with jackets (ties not necessary, but if ya want to, go for it!) or button downs. The weather can fluctuate in late April, with it being warm during the day and a little chillier at night, so take that into consideration as well.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! Parking attendants will be at the front of the venue property for your assistance, and golf cart attendants will take you to the ceremony site.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will have a shuttle to and from the venue. The shuttle will pick up guests at the Richmond Hilton Hotel and Spa at 3:30 p.m. and take guests back to the hotel when the party wraps up at 10:30 p.m. The shuttle won’t wait for guests, so if you plan to use it please plan to get to the shuttle a couple minutes early. If you're staying at the hotel and plan on drinking, please utilize this shuttle!

Is there an open bar?

Drinks are on us, hangover is on you! We'll have an open bar, with non-alcoholic options available as well. Just make sure to tip your bartender! :)

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults only. We hope you'll use this weekend as a little date night! :)

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We'd love to extend a plus-one invitation to all of our guests, but due to venue capacity our guest list is limited. If you have a plus-one, it will be indicated on your invitation and when you RSVP.
