We met way back in 2005 in high school and shared a ton of mutual friends. We occasionally crossed paths at parties and concerts while catching up during a game of beer pong or a concert tailgate. Fast forward to 2014, when our two friends decided to set us up because we were both single and shared a ton of interests (thanks Kate and Pat!). The first time we hung out was 9/20/14 (at Ott's of course) and made it official on 11/14/14.

Steve proposed to me on March 29, 2020 in the thick of quarantine. We were celebrating being in our house for one year and Steve wanted to make the date something even more special. This was a normal, chill night spent in comfy clothes (and no makeup!) while relaxing on the couch. Right before bed, Steve had our dog Chip give me the ring box as Steve was on one knee popping the question. Lots of happy tears were shed and we were FINALLY engaged!
