We officially met while lifeguarding, when I was 16 and Michael was 19. Michael claims to have noticed me years before swimming, so he proceeded to add me on Facebook a year before we met. It took a year for him to come and talk to me. One shift, Michael came to the hot tub I was guarding to start a conversation. Shortly after that conversation, he said, "I have a cool text to show you with emojis of the song "What Does the Fox Say?" We started texting and soon after asked me to be his girlfriend on his plane. Over 6 years passed and I still love him as much as the night on the plane. There's only one person that can convince me to do a half ironman and one I want to spend the rest of my life with. -Emily
