Roland aka Mac, was the big brother figure i needed when starting my job working with the Juveniles in the detention center. He also helped me beyond the job that i am grateful. He helped me put my jumbled life together after returning to Nyc after so many yrs.

Jermaine has been in my corner as well since my return to Nyc however he has helped me in my spiritual journey. He has helped me grow as a fellow Deacon. He is amazing father, husband and assistance to Bishop-Designate that ive learned how to handle my title and be a person not a title. He also has been amazing with advice with being newly engaged, planning the wedding and close to marriage.

I couldn't ask for a better nephew than Leon. I am so proud of the person, father, husband and teacher he has become. I am humbled and grateful to have had impact on the choices he made due to seeing me do it, goes to say their is always someone watching, so im glad i walked the right way even though i thought no one was looking. Although Jovanni is actually her nephew, Ebony and J are more like brother and sister. From sports trash talk, to jokes about the others height, to sharing sweet treats, to randomly scaring each other, their relationship is genuine and easy. Her big day would not be complete without J.

Charles is also an amazingly talented young man. Charles is a beast on the bass guitar and promises to only getting better with time. He is charismatic funny and the life of the party...lol...On the serious side,he is also giving back to youth at his job as he teaches them new tools they can use in life.

Jessica & Ebony are long time childhood friends. The Lord saw fit for a greater connect and their bond was further strengthened as Ebony served in Jessica's wedding. It is an honor to have Jessica return the favor and stand at Ebonys side as her matron of honor. Jessica is sweet, wholesome, a talented entrepreneur, gifted singer and a woman who has survived all that life has thrown at her.

Elisha is Ebony's bestie, they talk and chat with each other all the time. It was hard seeing her friend leave for Maryland in pursuit of her career as hotel management. Even with the distance they make it seem like they are around the corner from each other.

Takisha is sister of the groom, but she has been a sister to Ebony for eons. Takisha is spiritually grounded, an excellent role model and a prayer warrior. She's an amazing sister to me and an even better mother to Leon Johnson. She is an awesome grandma to Prince & Titan and has a great love for children.We know she will be a great auntie.

Rolanda and Ebony's sisterhood has stood the test of time. She has proven to be loyal, honest and a true confidant. She's a great mom who has a wonderful relationship with her two sons Deshawn and Douri. Douri is a junior groomsmen and Ebony's godson as well.

Angela has known Ebony for many years. Angela's daughter Zania is Ebony's Goddaughter. Zania is also apart of the wedding as a junior bridesmaid. Angela is kind, hard-working, supportive and strong.

Taisha is strong, faithful, determined, and honest. She is the mother of our ringbearer, Makai Jacobs,and has been apart of Ebony's life for over 10 years. Ebony is Makai's Godmother. Taisha is forever linked to Ebony and myself. Taisha is my sister in blue.

Amanda is warm, loving, has a big heart and a contagious smile. She and Ebony have been "sisters" from day one. State lines and life goals separate them but nothing keeps them from getting to each other if the other is ever in need.

Tanisha is Ebony's niece, an awesome wife and proud mother of three. Sum'er & Wynter, her two daughters, will be our flower girls. Tanisha is sweet, caring and compassionate. Tanisha's son, Antoine is one of our ringbearers.
