Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair—except for our flower girl. We appreciate you making the necessary arrangements ahead of time so that you may celebrate a “night out” with us.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding day is BLACK TIE OPTIONAL. This means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (i.e., a tuxedo or floor-length evening gown), but may also wear a formal suit and tie or knee-length cocktail dress, pantsuit, or dressy separates.

Does “Black Tie” mean I’m expected to wear all black?

No, Black Tie does not mean you are required to wear all black.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The venue will allow guest to enter the ceremony space at 5:00pm. The wedding coordinator will start the ceremony promptly at 5:30pm. We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated once we begin. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for guests in the lobby after that time. Should you arrive late, prepare to wait until the ceremony ends to join the other wedding guests during the cocktail hour and/or reception.

Can I bring a date that was not invited?

Answer

We have a strict guest list and only want to share this special occasion with people we truly know and love. Our wedding is strictly RSVP ONLY, therefore we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. This applies to partners, friends, family members, etc.

When is the deadline to RSVP? Do I need to mail it back or can I do it online?

The deadline to RSVP is Thursday, March 10th, 2022. You can access our wedding website to RSVP by using your phone’s camera to scan the QR Code located in your invitation suite. You can also access the website by going to https://www.zola.com/wedding/ebonyanddeshannon

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are not registered, and respectfully request monetary gifts in the form of gift cards or cash.

Can I take pictures or record videos of your wedding and post them to social media?

Answer

During the ceremony, please be prepared for an UNPLUGGED experience. We respectfully require all guests to turn off all electronic devices and refrain from taking pictures or videos throughout the ceremony. We have hired incredible professionals to capture our special day that will be shared afterwards. You are welcome to take as many pictures and record as much as you would like immediately following the ceremony for the remainder of the evening.
